The primary responsibility of our School Board is to oversee the School’s mission and purposes and to set policies to accomplish them. The Board is also accountable for the financial well-being of the School, including capital assets, the operating budgets, fundraising and endowment. In addition, the Board selects and hires the Principals. The Principal is charged with the responsibility for executing the School's mission and for carrying out the policies established by the Board.

Catholic of Pointe Coupee Appeals Process Catholic of Pointe Coupee has established an appeals process whereby parents may request a review of any decision by school administration that they feel is in violation of either school or diocesan policy. The order of authorities to whom an appeal may be made is: teacher, principal, Appeals Committee (local appeals form must be obtained from the principal and be submitted within 5 working days of the incident that resulted in the grievance), Resident Pastor (upon recommendation of Appeals Committee) and the Diocesan School Board (diocesan appeals form must be submitted to the Diocese within 10 days of the final decision at the local level).
The Appeals Committee consists of the following members: 2 school board members appointed by the School Board, 2 at large members appointed by the School Board and the School Guidance Counselor.
