Quentin Dastugue, CCIM
Quentin Dastugue, one of the founding partners of Property One, Inc., is Chief Executive Officer. His twenty-four years in commercial real estate have included leasing, investment sales, development, property management, construction project management and consulting.
During this same period, he served four consecutive terms as a Louisiana State Representative and, as Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation, Highways and Public Works, was responsible for the passage of the state Transportation Trust Fund and TIME program.
Quentin attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a degree in Civil Engineering.
Quentin has served on numerous civic organizations and real estate industry committees and has received many honors, including the Jefferson Board of Realtors "Realtor Associate of the Year". Quentin serves on the Board of Directors aof the Audubon Institute and The Idea Village.
A 1987 graduate of Vanderbilt University with a BA in Economics. Pratt began his real estate career as a commercial real estate broker in Nashville, TN, specializing in tenant and landlord representation for office and retail. In 1988 Pratt joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Atlanta, Ga. as an Asset Manager responsible for a portfolio of properties including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hotel and recreational. In 1995, Pratt transitioned to the mortgage production group within MetLife Real Estate as an underwriter and originator. He was involved in the financing of over $100 Million Dollars worth of income producing real estate. In 1997 Pratt moved to his hometown of New Orleans, La. to join Standard Mortgage Corp. as a loan originator in their income loan department. His responsibilities included developing client/borrower relationships and coordinating and participating in all aspects of the loan process from origination and underwriting to closing and delivery. In 2001, Pratt teamed up with the Dastugues to form PPQ Development, LLC and head up the Multifamily Investment and Development Division. Since joining PPQ, Pratt has been responsible for the acquisition and/or development of roughly 800 apartment units. Several of the complexes have been either sold or converted to condominiums resulting in excellent investment returns for PPQ’s investor clients. Pratt serves on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans YMCA and has been a youth baseball and soccer coach for several years.
Paul Dastugue, III, CPM
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a graduate of the University of New Orleans (Bachelor of Science – Business of Administration 1978), Paul has been involved in Commercial Property Development, Leasing and Property Management since 1973. Paul’s background includes Office Buildings, Shopping Centers, Industrial properties, Multifamily, Community Associations, as well as Government and Private Facility Management.
In February of 1985 Paul and his brother former State Representative Quentin D. Dastugue, CCIM founded Property One, Inc. which is now considered one of Louisiana’s largest and most successful commercial real estate firm.
Paul is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. He was the State Chapter’s President in 1981. In 1994 IREM Louisiana recognized Paul with the “Certified Property Manager of the Year Award”.
Additionally, Paul served as the founding President of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Board of Realtors and received their “Service to the Industry Award”, in 2007. Paul also received the Small Business Champion Award from the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Entrepreneurial Success Award by the State of Louisiana Department of Economic Development. The University of New Orleans honored him with its “Alumnus of the Year” from the College of Business and again bestowed Paul with the Richard J. Stillman Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to academics, students and the cultural enhancement of University Life.
He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi.
